Depoe Bay is the whale watching capital of the world and home of the world’s smallest harbor.

All I know is that it is gorgeous… and I am so fortunate to be able to work in such a beautiful part of the state… or country for that matter.

We see a large number of tourists in this area… more in the summer time, but a fair amount in the winter too!

After all… this is where many people come to get away from the hustle of the big city… and where they come to relax.

This is a nice place to work.

The ocean is directly behind our Depoe Bay station. There is even a deck to sit out on to enjoy the sights and smells of the ocean waves.

And just when you think the view can’t get any better… it does!
